What we do not police
Respectful criticism, ordinary disagreement, and good-faith fandom debates are welcome here. You can dislike a character, a dub, a build, or a take — and say so. What is never allowed is attacking, demeaning, or organizing against a person.
How we enforce it
Bullying and harassment have no place on Animate Social. Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, suspension, or permanent removal. Severe harassment, credible threats, and discriminatory abuse may result in immediate permanent bans.
Zero tolerance, not automatic bans
Zero tolerance means every violation is addressed — not that every report ends in a ban. Each report is reviewed on its evidence, context, and history before a decision is recorded.
A fair review and an appeal
Anyone restricted or removed can appeal. An appeal is reviewed against the original evidence, and a decision found to be wrong is overturned and removed from our enforcement records.
Reports are handled privately. Reporter identities are never displayed to the person reported or to other members. Authorized staff who review a case can see who submitted it so they can follow up, so a report is confidential but not untraceable to the moderation team.
